COURSE Summary
According to Gallup, nearly half of the workforce aren't creating safe or welcoming environments for diverse staff or patients because they do not have systems or policies in place that encompass diversity, equity, or inclusion (DEI). The breakdown of DEI is beyond the personal experience. It can include our external environments, our neurological development, and cultural societal norms. Organizational education and structuring can aid in underrepresented populations receiving their necessary healthcare needs and reduce disparities.
