The Top 3 Best Dental CE Experiences

Though it’s an important requirement to fulfill each year, continuing education for dentists doesn’t have to be a drag. For one, it’s crucial to make sure that you and your team bring their A-game to everything you do. In a marketplace where a patient’s loyalty is earned, not given, you should do everything you can to be effective in all aspects of dentistry.

All that said, you really don’t have to trade effectiveness for fun. It’s a myth that the best dental CE has to be dry and boring. These days, there are a plethora of options for enjoyable and memorable CE for you and your whole team.

Smiles at Sea is dedicated to Dental CE that puts a smile on your face. Like we did with our April 2021 Dental Festival on land and will do with our next land event, the October 2021 Dental Festival, we make sure you have the best experience at our conferences. You will learn a lot. You will make connections. And you will have some fun.

Here are three ways to create the best dental CE for your staff that we’ve helped practices create. Incorporate a mix of these in 2021 and beyond to create a motivated, educated, and productive!

1. Team Retreats

A team retreat is a special, customizable experience taking place far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a wonderful option to slow down, refresh, bond as a team, and take care of CE requirements. An event like this can earn you up to 20CE.

As opposed to a seminar or conference, a retreat like this is designed for just you and your employees. This makes the experience custom-tailored to your needs. You obviously get to select the time and place of the event, but you also get to choose the speaker! We have relationships with plenty of nationally-acclaimed speakers who would love to train your team on the topics most relevant for you.

One of the best parts of a retreat like this is that our team plans and executes on all the little details so that you don’t have to. Your mind gets to focus on learning and bonding.

2. Dental Cruises

A dental cruise is CE, a conference, and a vacation, all rolled into one. With a Smiles at Sea cruise, you can earn 12-16 CE hours while enjoying unforgettable experiences and destinations.

There’s a lot to love about a dental cruise. Beyond the destinations themselves, there are pool parties, group excursions, contests and prizes, nationally-recognized speakers, and the crowd favorite: in-class massage therapists.

COVID-19 kept us docked in 2020 and early 2021, but it won’t last forever. We can’t wait to get back to the high seas. The best way to stay up to date for the next time we set sail is by joining our mailing list, found at the bottom of this page.

3. The Dental Festival On Land

Just because COVID-19 changed some of our plans, doesn’t mean we have to stop having amazing CE events. In fact, our dental festival in Miami April 14th-18th turned out to be our best event yet! And we’re planning to make our October 2021 dental festival in Miami even better.

We designed the Dental Festival land event to include all the fun of a dental cruise and more. We also designed it to be a completely safe dental CE experience.

At the festival, you can expect the usual nationally-acclaimed speakers, along with breakout sessions of your choice, all for 24CE. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

April’s festivities included a bar crawl, talent shows, black-tie event, multiple networking mixers, a casino night, and a pool party. We also brought back plenty of contests and prizes along with massage therapists to treat you like the VIP you are.

There isn’t a better event in terms of enjoyability, education, and relationship building than our land events. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, confident, and more knowledgeable about your craft, all while connecting with new friends.

Learn more about how our next land event can help you and your staff finish 2021 on a high note and enter 2022 fully refreshed and ready to produce here.
